Before anyone misinterprets this as something to do with attraction, it doesn't work on Daniel because he has no soul. Physical attraction has nothing to do with Esther's powers.

I prefer to have readers figure clues out on their own but considering how there seems to be a fixation on projecting traditional demon tropes on Esther, this fact is pretty important so I'm stating it out right.
